UFO Researcher and Author Ruben Jose Uriarte has been a member of MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) for over 20 years and is currently state director for Northern California and Deputy Director for International Investigations/Activities. He was formerly a state coordinator for Crop Circle Phenomena Research International .He was research director for Beyond Boundaries, a UFO tour company specializing in leading tour groups to various UFO "hotspots" to different parts of the world. . Ruben is also a liasion between MUFON and its counterpart in Mexico, OMIFO,“Organizacion Mexicana de Investigadores del Fenomeno Ovni", Mexico's coalition of UFO investigative organizations.

Ruben has been interviewed on many local and national radio shows and television documentaries on the subject of the UFO Phenomenon, such as the Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, and the History Channel's UFO FILES and UFO HUNTERS.

Ruben has been co-authoring a series of books with Noe Torres about major UFO crashes that have occurred along the border of Southwestern United States and Mexico. Their first book, "Mexico's Roswell: The Chihuahua UFO Crash" (2007) received wide acclaim and was the basis for an episode of the History Channel's "UFO Hunters" TV show, in which the authors made a guest appearance. The book is currently being considered for production as a motion picture. The authors have traveled extensively while conducting research for their books and have appeared on many TV and radio shows.
