Awaken the Spirit
Journey into
Sacred Mayan Ancient Sounds

with Xavier Quijas Yxayotl
4:30 pm
in the Rio Vista Pavilion
outside past the Santa Fe Room

Concert in preparation for the Galactic Shift in consciousness 2012, according to the Mayan, Aztec, Incas and Hopi traditions.
Over 2,000 years ago music came from clay flutes and instruments made from natural materials from the earth. This music filled the temples and courtyards of ancient civilizations.

Xavier spent years in studies and research in museums and private collections of these instruments, enabling him to become one of the few able to reproduce & construct, with his own hands, instruments identical to the ones used by the ancient ancestors. Recently, Xavier was commissioned to make double clay flutes for the film Apocalypto. He has performed for the United Nations, at the 2002 Grammys, and during the opening ceremonies for the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize. Music crosses all barriers!

When one is in contact with the inner self, when it's time to respect the Creator of the Universe, the Mother Earth, the Soul, the sacred cycle of Life and Death, the ancestors Spirit, and the cosmic race... this is when the magical and divine ritual arrives with ancestral sounds that speak a spiritual language that only the Soul will recognize.
